Sean ran the students through some drills but his heart just wasn't in it today. They practiced a variety of martial styles, Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Silat, even Western Sword styles. Sean's personal favorite was rapier and main gauche.

He couldn't keep focused on the class as his mind kept drifting to the flash of red hair he seen earlier. This happened sometimes. He would see someone who looked like Meg and it would mess him up for days. He would dream about being with her. The dreams were so vivid and real, that he could still feel her warmth in his arms and smell her perfume when he woke.

Terry, his assistant instructor, clued in on what was going on. She always seemed to know. She nodded to him and took over the class for the day. He went inside the house, to the little study he used as an office. He bent over and plugged in his computer and threw the switch on the power strip.

BZZZZZZZZZRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

A sudden jolt ran through him, stealing rational thought from his mind. He collapsed and twitched on the floor, until everything went dark.

Sean woke in a hospital bed. He was bit confused at first and the room seemed to be filled with a soft green light. He looked to the foot of his bed for its source, and there she was. Meg stood there, as real as she had ever been. The light seemed to be coming from her eyes.

"Hello Sean" she said, "I told you that I'd be with you".

"M...M...Meg?" He stuttered, "What happened? Where have you been?"

"That's not important. I'm here now... and we have work to do".

The light from her eyes seemed to flow forward and envelope him. He watched in disbelief as it seemed to sink beneath his skin and become part of him. Meg faded from sight but he could feel her. She was all around him as well as a part of him.
